For over 45 years, SFERAX S.A., Switzerland's oldest linear ball bearing factory, has continued to improve the quality and range of its linear ball bearings.
SFERAX offers a wide range of linear linear ball bearings:
· standard linear ball bearings (shaft diameter 4 to 150 mm, various grades of precision)
· linear ball bearings with polyamide ball cage
This ball bearing features an extremely rigid construction with a polyamide cage, which makes for a marked reduction of the noise level and at the same time ensures jolt-free operation, even when biased.
· miniature linear ball bearings SMX
The miniature ball bearing SMX is made of stainless steel and featuring a brass ball tray, the main advantages of this ball bearing is that it is corrosion-resistant and devoid of any organic matter (all steel).
· economic linear ball bearings SL
This ball bearing defies competition both price-wise and on a practical level, thanks to its simplified assembly. Effectively, the SL ball bearing is mounted using a shrink-on technique that simplifies machining and does away with axially fitted circlips.
· linear ball bearings for high temperatures HT (from -30°C to +200°C)
This ball bearing is designed for high and low temperature, all made of steel (bearing steel and brass). This ball bearing features a high load carrying capacity, 4-6 ball tracks according to diameter, available in stainless steel too.
· open to 60° linear ball bearings (end-to-end shaft support)
· compact linear ball bearings (space-saving)
This linear bearing permits very high-precision linear movements without any limitation of travel and without play. It can be fixed by flanges or circlips that are bonded or press-fitted. This linear bearing has 6 ball tracks, available with brass ball tray or GBP ball tray (polyamide).
· linear and rotating linear ball bearings (3 different models)
The manufacturer also offers bearings intended for combined linear and rotating movements (LR, LCR and BIMO types).
